FIFA Expects Carlos Vela To Shine In The World Cup

The football organisation FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) has named on their official Website Arsenal hotshot Carlos Vela as one of the promising talents to have a chance to win the “Best Young Player Award” for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

The 20 years old Mexican went through the CONCACAF Qualification group with his native Mexico and is now close to feature in his first competitive World Cup tournament with El-Tri.

Vela was named alongside some very promising talents, including Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero, Ghana international Dominic Adiyiah, Italian talent Davide Santon, Spanish hotshot Juan Mata, Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato as well as Japanese talent Shinji Kagawa.

    and he deserves to win that award 😉

  2. i think he will win it because the real competition is alexandre pato but i doubt he will play with robihno and luis fabiano as forwards for brazil and he might have a good chance to show his talent because mexico has a good chance to go to the next round in the world cup

  3. He’s playing well for Arsenal at the moment. They should beat SA in the first game, but after that I think they’ll struggle.
