El-Tri head coach Javier Aguirre has confirmed today the list of the Mexican players who are currently playing in Europe for the upcoming World Cup in South Africa.
21 years old Arsenal striker Carlos Vela has made the step on this list along his good friend Giovani dos Santos (Galatasaray SK) and Hammers forward Guillermo Franco.
The biggest surprise was definitely that Dnipro Dnjepropetrovsk forward Nery Castillo was left out by the Mexican coach.

This is a huge step for Carlos because now he got the call for the actually 26-man big Squad for the El-Tri side, but three more players will be not taking the plane to South Africa to present their home country there. Javier Aguirre will announce the final Squad just a few weeks in front of the World Cup.
For Carlitos it is a dream to play for the Seleccion Mexicana in South Africa as well as the Mexican’s have big hopes in the young lad to fire them to a great result in the World Cup with his speed and skills on the highest level.
