Vela Gets Mexico Call For Wednesday’s Friendly

El-Tri head coach Javier Aguirre has selected Arsenal forward Carlos Vela in his 18-man Mexico Squad for the upcoming friendly against New Zealand on Wednesday evening on the impressive Rose Bowl stadium.

Aguirre makes full use of the FIFA’s lone international fixture before the Mexico team will start preparation for the World Cup with their training camp.

The El-Tri coach has so a last overview on his players and will look how Carlos Vela can handle the difficult situation with all the injuries which happened in the last weeks.

Vela is expected to leave London after Arsenal’s encounter on Saturday afternoon at the Britannia Stadium, when the Gunners take on a very physical Potters side. The team is looking for an away victory there to continue in the race for the Premiership title.

  3. hopeless… that means he will miss next weekends encounter with Burnley. This kid is either injured or jet-lagged, it’s a shame, cause i would like to see him get a run of games at Arsenal!

  5. im going to that game…its in the rose bowl in pasadena,california…a couple minutes from LA…hopefully vela plays cus when him and gio dos santos play on opposite sides they cause mayor trouble for any defense

  8. vela is great, and he is young, but it is the preporation of the world cup. I’m sure that vela will do great on that game on wed.

  9. this is the team that i want them to go the the world cup. Luna, Torrado, Guardado and Temo for their experience. the defence is great and i like Moreno, Vela, Gio, Chicharito because they are young and a great time to experience the world cup for better preporation for the next world cup. I also am hoping that Jonathan Dos, Santos Go to the world cup because he is so young and is playing for the best team in the world. Go Arsenal. i am so glade that Arsenal beat the stoke city.
