  1. I think i speak for every arsenal fan when i say i hope the lad scores a goal and goes on a bit of a run with the fixtures we have coming up

  2. Vela has had limited playing time this season and unfortunately when he has been called upon he hasn’t been made the impact consistently. In a team like Arsenal where you haveto perform to hold down a shirt, I hope Vela rises up in a game like this and prove why he is Carlos Vela. We love you and we know you are a fantastic footballer.

  3. Agreed i just hope he does more to try and stay on his feet and use a bit more body strength he’s gonna need it.

  4. come on carlos

i really want him to score a goal and try and force wenger to play him on a more regular basis

  5. He’s improving quietly. He looks a slight bit more rugged in the challenge lately but he needs a goal to really boost his confidence.

  6. He’s got everything in him… let him get a goal and his confidence back, and he’ll be coring for fun soon enough! Top, top player.

  7. Jack Staniforth

Given the chance Carlos Vela will become an Arsenal ledgend, believe me.
When I see his name alongside Eduardo I feel we have the makings of something big.

  8. Surely he has been rather disappointing since finally joining us in 2008, but I still believe in him. He is such a talent and with a run of games he could really start making an impact. He needs to bulk up a little and not get bullied off the ball. I feel he has the same kind of problem as Denilson. It’s too easy to take the ball away from them, they don’t manipulate it. He has a big fight ahead of him with the harsh competition for places in attack but with all the injuries, this is his chance. If he plays well today, he could start against Villa. In the Villa game, Cesc, Denilson and Rosicky will play in midfield as they are the only midfielders left. So in attack we only have Arshavin and Eduardo with Vela, Walcott and Wilshere fighting for the last place because Bendtner just returned and will probably only be on the bench.

  9. the defeat of arsenal was all because of playing 11 which consists of only unexperianced players.
