Mexico striker Carlos Vela made a small appearance for Arsenal this afternoon as the Gunners eased past Hull City by three goals to nil.
Coming in the 81st minute to replace Andrey Arshavin, Carlos produced a number of good runs making himself available for his team mates up front and also produced a cheeky backheel to set-up Mikael Silvestre in a move ended with Aaron Ramsey failing to hit the target.
The 20-year old will hope to be in action next Sunday for Arsenal when Arsene Wenger’s side will face Aston Villa, at the Emirates.
Special Note
In the absence of Alex Zimmermann, Carlos Vela news is currently being updated by the team of The Gunning Hawk: Arsenal Blog and Arsenal News. Alex will be back updating the site as soon as possible.
