Vela Get’s 13 Minutes Champions League Action Against Olympiacos

Young Hotshot Carlos Vela was introduced after 77 Minutes in tonights UEFA Champions League clash with Olympiacos Piräus, as Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger has decided to give the young Mexican a run out to replace French midfielder Abou Diaby.

The plan of the French man was that Vela can force some problems on the wings for the back four line of Olympiacos. And immediately after he was introduced Arsenal had their goal, even though Vela wasn’t involved, as Fabregas played a ball to Eduardo, so that he could find Robin van Persie and the Dutch man smahes home from close range.

The second for the Gunners came 8 Minutes later, as Andrey Arshavin sealed the 2:0 victory.

With Nicklas Bendtner and still Theo Walcott missing the match, Arsene Wenger has added the young  Mexican to his 18man Squad.

  4. don’t be a fool, it’s just the papers making rubbish up. xerez said they wanted him, wenger has no intention of loaning him. the only reason he loaned him before was because he needed to get european residency.
