Arsenal’s Carlos Vela Joins Mexican National Side

Arsenal prodigy Carlos Vela has flown out to Mexico City to join the Mexican national side in their training camp. The team are there to prepare for the two friendlies against Argentina and Peru as well as the two CONCAF World Cup qualifier’s against Belize.

Vela has currently avoided relegation with his loan club Osasuna Pamplona as the Osasunistas lost their away match at Santander, but on same time Real Zaragoza missed to get the vital points to stay in the Primera Division and have to go now in the Segunda Division.

Carlos only played the final 8 minutes of the fixture, because Jose Angel Ziganda decided for the last 3 matches, that his team must learn to live without the special qualities of Vela.

The young Mexican whizkid said yesterday to all people in Pamplona goodbye, because after the matches with his native country Mexico, will he spend some time with his family in Cancun before reporting back to Shenley in London, Colney to join Arsenal’s pre season.

Gunners Supporters around the world are expect to see him playing for the first time in a Arsenal kit, when Arsene Wenger’s side take on Barnet Football Club on 19th July at Underhill Stadium.
