The Spanish football association has confirmed today the 5th yellow card for Carlos Vela in the current season. Vela picked up the yellow at Getafe on Sunday and is suspended for Saturday evening, when the Pamplona outfit take on Recreativo Huelva at the Estadio Reyno de Navarra. Furthermore the association has removed the yellow card of Juanfran because the referee yellow carded the wrong player.
In other news, the mexican football association has sacked today national coach Hugo Sanchez because the Under 23 national team missed the qualification for the Olympic Games in summer. Carlos made his first appearances for the Mexico international side under Hugo Sanchez as well as that he played 71 minutes as Mexico took on the american side in February. Vela’s former U17 coach Jesus Ramirez is for the moment the new man at the branch line. Carlos Vela won with him the Under 17 World Cup 2005 with Mexico in Peru.
