Arsenal’s Vela Speaks About His Jamaica Performance / Quotes

7 09 2008

Arsenal Forward Carlos Vela was speaking after the clash with Jamaica last evening at the Estadio Azteca to the native press, to give views on his impressions as well as on his own performance.

Vela played 73 minutes, as his native Mexico forged a 3:0 win over Jamaica and was involved in two of the three goals.

“I am satisfied that the coach have so much trust in me and I believe that we have improved today very much, we did a good match and I hope on Wednesday, to go outside and do again a bit better”

“I believe that in the first party, that I did not so well, but today it was a lot better, only the goal was not there for a good night, but many parties are still to come and in the next match, maybe I will score”

“It wasn’t easy, but the team played very well and when the things are all going well, then everything looks easier, so we need to continue on this way”.

DANNYGOONER-U NEED TO APPRECIATE WHAT ADEBAYOR BRINGS TO OUR TEAM. VELA IS GOOD AND WILL BE GREAT (HOPEFULLY) BUT ADEBAYOR BRINGS A PHYSICAL PRESENCE TO OUR TEAM WHICH WE CANNOT DO WITHOUT! HE WILL ALSO START SCORING SOON,LIKE NEXT WEEK!

Anyone know when the Mexican’s next qualifier is after the Canadians? Vela is strongly disadvantaged with all the stop starting of his arsenal careeer.

I can’t wait to see him rest Ade on the bench.
Ade is an ungrateful SOB to be honest.
anxious to see him start with RvP ;D

Absolutely brilliant talent he is…I’m tired of saying it. But his attitude is what makes him near complete at just 19.

How he is so strong on the ball, I have no idea.

CARLITTO!!!!!!!

Simply magnificient and brilliant finisher. he also seems like a very nice and humble person. he is a natural in front of goal and will have a very brilliant football career. he reminds me of a young brazilian Ronaldo who was also very calm in front of goal in his time at PSV and Barcelona. Arsene Wenger is the right man to mould his career in the right direction. COME ON ARSENAL.
