Arsenal have announced this evening the squad for tomorrow night’s trip to the Netherlands, where the Gunners will take on FC Twente at Gelredome.
Arsene Wenger has named Mexican starlet Carlos Vela in a very surprising side, because the Gunner boss have to lament a lot of injuries.
Toure, Senderos, Fabregas, Nasri, Diaby, Rosicky as well as Eduardo, are all not available for the Gunners Manager to face the Dutch side.

Eboue better not start. There’s no reason why we need to handicap ourselves by relinquishing RM to them- and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing if he plays.

Eboue is the worse player in the squad yet starts nearly every match.

Eboue looks better playing CM and thats saying something!
eboue is fine (at least against twente) but the worry is ramsey and denilson, and walcott – all inconsistent and not quite tested; and this is a must win game
Eboue is playing well obviously been working on his game, showed good crossing skill to put the ball in a dangerous area for adebayor to open scoring against Ajax… he just needs accuracy in the final third….
Given the weakness in terms of personnel, Eboue’s inclusion is ok, however I would rather play Vela in place of Ramsey to start with. Let’s not forget that even at 19, he is a full international for MEXICO!! Denilson can then play as a holding midfielder. We need at least a draw.
fuck me when you think thats probably (disregarding any miracle recoverys or worse, more injurys) the squad we will be starting the prem with we should thank our lucky stars we havent got the mancs or russians in the first 2 or 3 games!
great promise in players like wilshere ramsey vela butto have to rely on them in their 2nd or third game as starters against the top teams would be suicide!

Agree with Stu and BerlinGunner, we can’t have Eboue starting ahead of someone like Vela!!!!
I think Vela has warranted a place in the starting XI, whereas Eboue has done nothing other than setting up one goal against Ajax.
Come on Arsene, make the right choice!!!

Lay off Eboue. While he’s an Arsenal player that’s never brought up any crap about cash he’s fine with me. Football is a confidence game. How the hell would you like it if every time you went to work you had 2/3 of a 60k stadium giving you sh1t?! Don’t get me wrong, I think the boy has gone backwards since that awesome champs league run a couple of years back when I thought he had the potential to be the best offensive right back around, but for god’s sake he’s on OUR SIDE!!!! Come on the gooners.
One thing eboue has is his ability to open up space for other players which vela clearly lacks, experience also counts, eboue would be a first choice for me.
