On loan Mexican whizkid Carlos Vela is back in the starting line-up, when the Osasunistas take on Espanyol Barcelona on Sunday evening at the Estadio de Montjuic. Vela was sidelined as Osasuna lost their home match against Recreativo Huelva because of a yellow card suspension.
Jose Angel Ziganda wants to bring Carlos back into the starting line-up which will enable him to have more options on the left wing. When Vela enters the scene, the Pamplona outfit immediately impress in quality. He shines in attack with team-mates such as Czech Republic star Jaroslav Plasil, Francisco Juanfran and Spanish striker Kike Sola.
Jose Angel Ziganda said: “We have Vela back and I will play him on the left hand side. The team need to play with both their head and heart. On Sunday it is crucial for us to win, we need to come away from relegation and stay in La Liga.”
The team train later (6pm CET) at their superb Tajonar training facility.
