On loan Arsenal forward Carlos Vela will not join the Mexican national team for the international friendly against Ghana at Craven Cottage on Wednesday because of a thigh injury.
Carlos was not named in the Squad for Osasuna’s home defeat against Real Betis on Sunday evening at the Estadio Reyno de Navarra.
He will be replaced by Edgar Castillo, Carlos made a descion on his fitness after a call from Mexican coach Hugo Sanchez, as well as having a meeting with Osasuna coach Jose Angel Ziganda, He will stay in Pamplona to recover from the injury, as well as having some gym work.
